Jennifer Zimni was born in Recklinghausen on 29.09.1991.
For her studies she moved to the neighbouring City Bochum. She acquired her masters degree in early history and resource archaeology at the Ruhr-University Bochum in 2017.
She also studied history at the University of Strathclyde in Glasgow during 2016/2017.
Since May 2018 she has been working as a research assistant at the GPIA Jerusalem.
Jennifer Zimni wrote her dissertation while working at the excavation on Mount Zion.
She was also involved in several archaeological projects back in Germany:
2012: Participation in the DAI-Project „Neolithic earthworks in Mecklenburg Vorpommern“
2013: Working at the excavation in the City-Center Recklinghausen
2015: Working at the excavations at the Holstercastle in Warburg (NRW)
