How to reach us!
The German Protestant Institute of Archaeology in the Holy Land is located in the district Tla Al-Ali in the northwest of Amman, near the “Jordan University.” The distance to the international Queen Alia airport south of town is about 45 km. A taxi from there costs about [nbsp] 20 Jordanian Dinars. In general, the taxi drivers know the way to university or to the hotel “Amman International” (not the Intercontinental!) which is adjacent to the institute.
How to find us!
From the south, leave the main gate of the university are right and drive to the university mosque. Here you make a “U-Turn” (Note: right lane in time) and go back about 600 meters south until you reach the right one [nbsp] gas station. Immediately after the petrol station, turn right (big sign “Amman International”) and go up a steep hill. After 200 meters the institute is located on the left side (number 32).
